Monitor the accessibility of network devices
The Wiesemann & Theis IP-Watcher monitors network devices by continuously using the Ping application to probe the connection (via ICMP Echo Request) or by opening and closing a TCP port. A notification is sent if a network device no longer responds.
Notifications can be sent via the network or signalized locally by using the two digital outputs to activate connected alarm indicators. The digital outputs can also be used to initiate the rebooting of a device that can no longer be reached.
The IP-Watcher is configured via a web-interface. The web-interface is updated automatically and displays all alerts as well as the status of the inputs and outputs. Current alarms can be cancelled via the web-interface or directly on the device, using the digital inputs.
The device can be powered by a power adapter or PoE.
