The Vutlan VT408 is a CAN expansion for Vutlan monitoring devices and PDUs. It provides eight additional ports for analog Vutlan sensors.

- Sensor ports: 8 × RJ11 6P4C for analog Vutlan sensors
- Sensor detection: Automatic detection and integration of connected sensors
- Interface: CAN bus / CANopen
- CAN ports: 2 × RJ11/RJ12 6P4C
- Daisy Chain: Multiple VT408 units as well as other CAN sensors and expansions can be connected in series
- Maximum number: Up to 24 VT408 units in one CAN bus chain, provided that no other CAN devices are connected
- Power supply: 12 V DC
- Maximum bus length: 225 m
- Dimensions: 129 × 28.6 × 56 mm
