Temperature and humidity measurement with external 1 m probe and Modbus RTU

The RTU-HTemp T3419 from COMET SYSTEM measures temperature and relative humidity using an external probe on a 1 m cable. The probe measures −30 to +105 °C and 0–100% RH; the combined temperature and humidity limits in the manual must be observed. An LCD on the enclosure displays the readings.

Its RS485 interface supports Modbus RTU and connection to compatible Perseus systems. Additional humidity values such as dew point are calculated. The unit requires 9–30 V DC. The enclosure is rated IP65 and the probe IP40. The extended temperature range applies to the external probe; the electronics must remain within the operating limits specified in the manual.
