egnite: Codespot Dev

Codespot Dev is a simple digital signal processor (DSP) for developing your own audio applications.
The firmware development is preferably done with the freely available IDE from VLSI Solution, for which preconfigured plug-ins and code examples are available.
The device is based on the VS1063 audio codec of the Finnish manufacturer VLSI Solution. The box has an analog stereo line input and a corresponding output, two electrically isolated, digital inputs and outputs, a USB interface and a serial RS-232 interface.
An integrated USB to SD card bridge allows to directly exchange audio files or any other data between a PC and an internal microSD card.
