AVR Dragon (ATAVRDRAGON) is a low cost in-system programmer for Atmel 8-bit and 32-bit AVR microcontrollers with on-chip debug capability.

JTAG debugWIREAVR Dragon contains a prototyping / device socket area, but can also be used with an external target board. It is powered by the USB cable.
The development tool is supported by the AVR Studio software. AVR Studio is available free of charge from Atmel`s web site. The online-help contains a user`s guide and a list of supported devices.
