Damocles2 is the latest development in the Damocles I/O product line. Along with a new design for Damocles2 Mini, this also brings about several improvements for all Damocles2 products.
As the Ethernet interface supports 100 Base-T and IPv6, it is perfectly equipped for modern applications. The previous generation’s email functions have been extended to TLS encryption. Additionally, more flexible possibilities to integrate Damocles2 devices into your applications are available due to the support of the SNMPv3 protocol as well as the cloud-protocols MQTT and HWg-Push.
Damocles2 2404 can now be powered with -48V (Telekom standard) or Power over Ethernet (PoE), as well as the regular 9-30V DC power supply.
The production of the Damocles range (first generation) will be discontinued in late 2017. Orders can be placed up until then and as long as the HW group’s supplies last.
