The VS1005 Developer Board features all necessary hardware for writing and testing software on VS1005
The Open Source operating system VSOS is preinstalled. Using the free VSIDE allows to create custom applications. The required USB UART cable is included.
Line and S/PDIF inputs and outputs and a headphone output are available for audio data. In addition to a UART interface, buttons and LEDs, there are a number of additional ports for external hardware. Additional Ethernet and JTAG interfaces will be supported by future software upgrades.
USB is used for power supply.
