Energy and environmental monitoring with M-Bus master

Perseus Energy 242 records energy and environmental parameters and makes the data available via LAN.
The device supports 1-wire UNI sensors, M-Bus meters and RS-485-based Modbus/RTU devices. The 1-wire sensors record measured variables such as temperature, humidity, voltage and current. Consumption meters for energy, water or gas can be read via M-Bus or Modbus/RTU. The integrated M-Bus master supplies connected meters with power and reads their measured values, while the RS-485 interface enables the connection of additional sensors or meters with Modbus/RTU protocol. Up to 100 sensors or meters and up to 1000 measured values (variables) can be managed.
A WLD input allows the connection of a leakage sensor cable, and digital inputs for status messages and a relay output for controlling external devices are also available.
Alarms can be sent by e-mail, SNMP trap or via an external SMS gateway. Measured values can be retrieved via open interfaces/APIs such as XML, Modbus/TCP, MQTT or SNMP; with the Meters Open API, values from other HW group devices can also be integrated.
The SensDesk cloud platform can be used for central visualisation and archiving.
Perseus Energy 242 comes in a robust metal housing and is powered by 24 V DC.
